Sometimes, all you need is a little patience

Sometimes I despise the chore of having to meet up with people whom I don’t actually care for, just because I’m back from Australia. These people are the deadweight ‘friends’ who I have barely spoke two words to in the past year or so, yet they seem to persistently stalk my facebook posts & insist on a mini reunion which is bounc to be filled with awkward silences and false smiles. I am mainly pointing out my disgust to one person in particular, but a couple of other awkward social situations do irk me slightly afterward. I know its the thought that counts, but for that one person, I do believe its just an attempt to receive material possessions from me, and flaunt the new boyfriend, and exaggerate about the countless men who apparently have fallen for her charms. Yes, you are a bad girl who has seduced many innocent boys. Please, that was so 1999. As if the blatant lies aren’t bad enough, that person also hampers on the edge of my life constantly, waiting for the tiniest crack in the wall so that she can invite herself in, get to know all my friends, and best of all, claim that they have now become her ‘very good friends’. I could hurl.

If I could choose though, I would only meet the friends who I desperately miss during the long periods of separation, the real friends. ♥
